SYSTEM OPERATION

  1. Fully extend the antennas and set them at an angle perpendicular to the floor to achieve the best RF reception.

  2. Connect the AWR6112 receiver AC input to an AC power source via an AC cord..

  3. Connect the AWR6112 receiver audio output to the microphone input of a mixer via a cable.  (Note: There are two outputs: one unbalanced mixed output and one balanced mixed output.)

  4. Place three rechargeable AA batteries into the battery housing of each of the AWX6112 microphones with the battery polarity oriented as indicated. If the batteries need to be recharged, insert the AWX6112 microphones (with the recharge contacts facing downwards) onto the recharge sockets on the AWR6112 receiver. (Note: Never recharge any battery that is not made to be rechargeable.)  The recharge LED indicators will turn red when the batteries are being recharged. After the batteries are fully charged, the recharge LED indicators will turn yellow.

  5. Turn on the power of the AWR6112 receiver. After the power of the AWR6112 is turned on, the fluorescence display will be turned on showing the volume control levels of channel 1 and channel 2.

  6. Turn on the On/Off switch on each of the AWX6112 microphones. The low battery LED indicator will blink once and then stay off while the Normal Power LED indicator will then be turned on. If the low battery LED indicator stays on, recharge the rechargeable AA batteries in the AWX6112.

  7. Once the AWX6112 microphones are turned on, the audio levels, channel numbers and the corresponding frequencies on the fluorescence display will be on to show the reception statuses.

  8. Adjust the volume control knobs to have an optimal sound quality.

OPERATION NOTES

  1. The brand new rechargeable AA batteries for the handheld microphones need to be charged before use.

  2. The AWX6112 handheld microphones need to be turned off before changing the batteries.

  3. Signal dropout or unexpected noise may be caused by a low battery or by an excessive distance between the microphone and the receiver.  If you encounter signal dropout or unexpected noise, please check the batteries first.  If batteries are still fresh, try to readjust the antennas on the AWR6112 receiver.

  4. Do not drop the microphone on the floor or strike the microphone with any object.

  5. Always turn off the microphones and remove the batteries if the microphones are not to be used for a period of time to prevent the microphone from being damaged by a leaking battery.

  6. Avoid placing the receiver in a corner to prevent any RF reception deterioration.

  7. Try to place the receiver as far away from any digital equipment, including computers and some CD players, as possible.
